There’s a small selection of my work currently on display in the foyer of United House, North Road, London N7 9DP, which is just around the corner from Caledonian Road tube station.
Marion, from Busworks, very kindly allowed me to take over the wall space to hang six recent pieces. The large areas of white brickwork are ideal for showing off the type of work I does and I decided early on to hang everything unframed. This helps integrate the art with the surroundings, the extra white around the pieces allows them additional breathing space, and it also makes it easier to engage with the work and to appreciate the texture of the paper pulp.
My work will be on show for a couple of months so let me know if you’re planning to pass by to have a look or, failing that, just mention at the desk that you’re there to see the pictures.
I’ll be at United House on Tuesday 17th August 2010, 4.30 – 6.00pm for a private view. Come for a drink and a chat – last chance before I disappear for a while to work on some new large-scale works.
Thanks also to Decoder’s Ailbhe and Mark, who work in the building, for organizing the initial introductions.

And it looks great in the space too. We’ve posted some more pictures from the opening evening on our site. The work looks fantastic and lifts your spirits when you walk in : )
